RECIPE

Sweet and Zesty Baby Back Ribs

Be famous at home with this mouth-watering rib recipe from Famous Dave Anderson! This video tutorial featuring Famous Dave, that will show in a few simple steps how to make Famous Dave’s Best Tasting Ribs.

SERVES 4

Ingredients

  • Loin Back Ribs
  • Famous Dave’s Georgia Mustard Sauce for Marinade
  • Brown Cane Sugar
  • Famous Dave’s Rib Rub Seasoning
  • Famous Dave’s Rich & Sassy Sauce
  • Famous Dave’s Sweet & Zesty Sauce

Preparation

Step 1

Remove the membrane from your rack of loin ribs. Dave uses a butterknife to pry back the membrane, and a paper towel to pull it completely off.

Step 2

Take your Famous Dave's Georgia Mustard Sauce and rub every surface of the loin back ribs with it. Do the same with a coating of brown sugar. Then, take your Famous Dave's Rib Rub Seasoning and generously sprinkle onto every surface of the ribs. Marinate the ribs for at least 2 hours.

Step 3

Smoke the ribs for 4 hours. Then make a mop with Famous Dave's Rich & Sassy Sauce and slather the ribs on both sides. Once the sauce is caramelized, remove ribs from heat. Slather on your desired helping of Famous Dave's Sweet & Zesty Sauce.

Enjoy!

Tips

The best tasting ribs begin with Famous Dave’s Georgia Mustard BBQ Sauce, and Famous Dave’s Rib Rub, and end with Famous Dave’s Sweet and Zesty BBQ Sauce.

Tip 1

Removing the membrane from a rack of loin back ribs allows Famous Dave’s Georgia Mustard BBQ Sauce to be used as a marinade that soaks deeply into the meat. This gives the ribs that unique, extra special flavor that everyone is looking for.

Tip 2

Marinate for at least 2 hours, or overnight, and the ribs are ready for the smoker. Once they are completely smoked through, finish them with Dave’s last tasty tip: a healthy mopping of Famous Dave’s Sweet and Zesty BBQ Sauce. This will caramelize, lightly burning the sugars onto the ribs, turning them into the most delectable treat that one can eat!
